The Governance Institute Program for Florida Head Start Association RECAP

I recently attended The Governance Institute Program for Florida Head Start Association. I presented two workshops, as well as presented during the closing session.

  • Program Governance: Ensuring Program Success in Changing Times
  • Conducting Effective Meetings: New and Improved Policy Council & Board Meetings
  • Closing Session Speaker: The History of Head Start and Parent Engagement: Where Do We Go from Here?

According to the FHSA website,

“The Fall Governance Institute is a great opportunity for Policy Council and Board Members to learn about Shared Governance, Meeting Management, Effective Communication Skills and other topics critical to managing a successful program.

This professional development event is intended for Policy Council and Board Members (new as well as those who have served previously) as well as Grantee Directors, Agency Management and staff with governance responsibilities.”

I had a great time in Florida with the FHSA. Check out my photos from the event below.
